The JP PRO Wave boards are known for their versatility and precise powerful turning.

In 2008 we made some big changes in our design concept and got great results. The boards were our most aggressive, high performance boards to date. For 2009 we worked on further improving their performance in poor conditions, weak surf and fluky winds.

SHAPE NEWS

	They still have a full length concave bottom design that combines great down the line characteristics with excellent maneuverability and snap on the wave face. When railed over in a turn the boards are snappy, precise and powerful.
	With a generous single concave through the midsection there is plenty of lift for easy planing. This concave also gives great bite and high speed stability in screaming bottom turns.
	We brought back a slight amount of vee in the tail. This gives the boards more stability and they have more drive off the back foot.
	Because the centerline rocker is straighter over the last 60cm the boards plane earlier and go faster.
	The outline is fuller in the nose and allows you to drive off the front as hard as you want with total confidence.

SUMMARY

If you liked the 2008 Pro Waves, you will love the 2009. They are smoother rail to rail and incredibly consistent in powerful turns. The biggest improvements are earlier planing, faster bottom turns and more power through the whitewater. They’re faster in flat water as well! They still offer the speed Pro Wave’s have become known for, great bite and radical cutback capability but now they work better in less than ideal conditions as well.
